    Legendary pianist Nelson Freire appeared Sunday afternoon on the Portland Piano International series performing two Bach-Busoni Organ Preludes, Beethoven’s “Waldstein” Sonata, Chopin’s Sonata in B-flat Minor, Debussy’s “Children’s Corner Suite” and concluding with two selections from the Albeniz Iberia Suite.

    Portland Piano International Artistic Director Harold Gray and Executive Director Pat Zagelow did not request a concert review from PENINSULA REVIEWS and no reviewer’s comps were provided. Therefore the event was not reviewed.
